Finance for Digital Video on Demand Business
Dear Sir,
Swish Group is delighted to announce that it has entered into an agreement for CBFC
Leasing Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank, in conjunction with its strategic alliance
partner ComputerFleet to provide a financing programme of up to $5,000,000 to Swish
Group’s customers for the roll out of its Digital Video on Demand (DVOD) system to 4 and 5
star hotels throughout Australia.
While the nature of the financing programme has been agreed the individual hotels wishing to
install the Swish Interactive DVOD and high speed internet system will still be required to
satisfy the Bank’s lending criteria and will still be subject to credit approval and finalisation of
documentation.
Swish Group’s Digital Video on Demand and high speed internet system enables users to
choose from a wide range of movies, television shows and other content. It also allows users
to pause, bookmark, fast forward, rewind and replay their selected programme. The system
enables users to surf the internet and receive emails on the television screen in their room or
connect their laptop to a high speed internet access system and for the hotel or apartment
operator to provide information on the facilities available in the premises and in the city in
which the hotel or apartment is located. The system also enables the sale of advertising
which is likely to become a significant revenue opportunity.
Cary Stynes, Swish Group Managing Director, said “the arrangement with CBFC should
significantly enhance the Company’s ability to secure further sales of its DVOD product”.
If you require and further information please do not hesitate to contact Cary Stynes.
Yours sincerely
CARY P STYNES
Managing Director
