Hi does anyone know the value of Tech's Red Dog mine in Alaska when it was discovered? I am trying to get an idea of what IBG's share of its mine will be worth and thought that a starting point would be Red Dog this is meant to be simple but if you have a professional way of estimating the real value please do
If Red Dog was worth say $2B and we take Citronen at half that value then if IBG retain 50% of that in a JV with some one like Tech- IBG would be $500 M. If we take $500 M with about 2 B SOI, then once the mine is built would the price of each share be $0.25??
As I said - very simple- it ignores the life of mine, grades etc-- any thoughts?
