I've been following ife and mzi over the past year as they both have projects that appear quite robust... but both being cash poor minnows they have been shopping around for finance so they can take the next step and build a mine.

IFE seem to be looking at a number of options - offtake etc, and only need $22mil, but even that small number can be quite a hurdle in the current environment.

MZI have just announced one of those funding packages which kills off the retail shareholders, effectively stealing the project at the last post when much of the hard yards have been done.

I've only a few IFE but am interested in others views on the same as it's quite possible management in their desperation sign off on a dreaded convertible note issue
that massively dilutes shareholders and at the same time caps the SP until the notes expire.

IFE, if they could get a straight bank loan for say $15m and do an equity raise for the rest would be ideal imo, but whiles the banks will help out an existing producer, they are reluctant (imo) lenders for new projects. Shame really.
