Well, it was ambiguous but now that you've cleared it up i do recall having seen such a thing myself (sensitive box within a fax).
And re: your description of this time, with reference to sensitivity/Directors....thanks for that too. I wanted another opinoin on this, as i i must have asked the wrong question (and got the wrong insight) when i spoke to the ASX, as i did not aske them about sensitivity rules and excecution of contracts as opposed to a raw buy or sell of a share. Cheers for your clarity.
I do think that a director executing a contract right now would be playing into a dicey chance of interpretation - it could be interpretted either way (good/bad) as there is nothing "set in stone" giving it a context yet (well there is to some of us).
If however we had another sale or finance announcement which indicated how far down the line we are, then, to the lay-investor/Mum and Dad/etc, the excecution of options clearly would have a definite and positive context. IMO such a style annoucement wouldnt just be an update, but it would be a show of confidence.
