Maybe I'm naive but do listed companies employ or contract communications people to blog for them favorably on financial websites? Is it legal?
For smaller speculative companies, particularly those who will need to tap the sharemarket to survive or progress, there often seems to be one or two dominant bloggers. Sometimes they only comment about that one stock, but they almost do it daily? They become the resident expert at commenting favourably on the stock. Seems to happen amongst some biotech and resource companies. Makes me suspicious.
