I agree wholeheatedly with what you say. Nonetheless, this problem has been with him for years (even pre-GFC) and post GFC, since it has been difficult to obtain employement and meet house repayments, he has had to obtain further debt to meet other repayements - call this stupidity. Nonetheless, no one can help the past but people can change their spending actions and psychology in the future. At the end of the day, people make stupid and irradical spending decisions however, everyone deserves a second chance.
This is why I want to help and am posing the question out there to hear experiences and opinions in addition to that other thread.
