People should not have to ring a government department and speak to a person in an office. Load up the trucks with mobile offices and stick the public servants in every township that has been affected. We need them on the ground where the fires have been. They need to speak to a person face to face. The heartbreaking story of the man who rang up for assistance and was told that as far as the public servants map, his area had not been affected just makes me sick to my stomach. So many civil servants and no service, now they want to employ more????? This country is such a joke, what has to happen for this relentless government employee bill to stop?
