No Lindso47, I've been having this argument elsewhere, and it's only my opinion, but many Financial Planners are selling a flavoursome crock of the brown stuff.

Financial Planners and Advisors should be judged on RoI. Many of them didn't see the latest crash coming and lost loads of their clients' money through bad advice.

The Good Financial Planners (and Fund Managers) have made money in the downtown by shorting the market and being in cash. They deserve all the praise they've received and all the money they've made. Good on them.

The Bad Financial Planners have lost money and should be outed as the incompetent buffoons they are. A financial planning qualification doesn't mean you know how to pick the trend, just like a management degree doesn't mean you can manage a public company.

Let's get it straight: performance counts and there hasn't been much of it lately. That's why I've had an SMSF for some years.

    Off with their heads!
