Obviously I know that the vast majority of fish are going to die, even in best case scenario - they produce gajillions of eggs. However, you need more than three quarters of **** all to survive past the fry stage.
Getting them to spawn might have been a novelty, sure, and in some respects it's a great achievement, but that doesn't make it commercial if you can't raise them, and even that's useless if you can't raise them economically.
Of course we can't sustainably keep harvesting wild SBT like we are, but that doesn't mean people are going to be willing to pay whatever it takes to produce these things, even if it does become possible. There will be a price at which no one wants to buy them, and in a world increasingly deprived of fish, ANY fish is going to become worth a heap, and tuna need to eat many kg of fish to produce one kg of tuna. The economics are going to become increasingly worse, and clearly CSS isn't going to get this project working in a hurry, if they ever get there at all.

Honestly, anyone, read through the history of this company and make up your own mind.
