goro -probably just a rumour a this stage - but it is no wonder - even old stayer speculated on friday about exxon or bhp or origin making a bid due to the overruns in org and awe's bass st gas development, and the fact bhp and exxon seemed to be sitting on their hands with another!
wacky - i like beach but $3 or more is just fantasy land at this point in time and with markets like they are - 60% to 70% premium looks like the order of day with other takeovers- nexen not quite that high i dont think but it is alot of dollars- about $12 billion!
another one i highlighted a couple or weeks ago in canada on a thread i started called shorters beware was about 70%
- considering beach were $1.70 a little while ago- however one thinks $2 would be needed to get a lot of interest!
beach got over my average cost yesterday briefly! - maybe i should buy some more to get it down a bit lower!
