"1. Its shareholders who drove up the price
2. Its shareholders drove down the price"
I think a lot of the price fall has been due to input of shorting via trading desks of certain insto's. However I don't understand how the shorters don't bail out when price bottoms at levels like this because surely risk can quickly start to exceed reward if consistent downtrend cannot be maintained. Can anyone enlighten me on the mechanics?
