In the US there is a joke that sometimes when management make large public purchases of stock that they are closing out a short position.
In all seriousness. Spotless and capitol two interesting situations. I can't find much information that makes me doubt they will be stable earners... even if reduced from their current record earnings.
If mgmt are withholding relevant information then they could be subject to legal action...
