I don't think that point is being missed by others, just being misunderstood by yourself.
Every asset transaction has the buyer looking for upside through derisking etc. However in a fully competitive market that transaction price is by definition the fair market value at that point in time. If any thing in such a competitive situation some one gets over exuberant and over pays for the asset. No doubt Finder will be hoping for that.
