This applies to all speculative stocks - you should never buy and hold. Not for any of them. They should only ever be traded on a short term time frame. 99.9% of spec stocks go up hard at some point in their lifespan, and they might even do this a few times, but the rise is almost always followed by a hard fall. Have a look through the history of thousands of ASX spec stocks. Only once in a lifetime will a spec stock go on to great heights, despite all the praise that is thrown at them on forums like this.

One of one thousand such examples: LYC in 2011. Go back and search this forum and look at all the praise and ramping and BS that people go on with. Spec stocks should never ever be held long term.
