Exactly right, the thesis isn't broken. People like Cashken is just trying to call the top, fluffing about trying to time the market.
People who think they're hotshot traders who know the market very well, feel free to sell or even short when you think it's overvalued. Feel free to buy or leverage buy with a margin if you think it's undervalued.
You'll learn pretty quickly... the market enjoys giving overconfident market participants a whiplashing.
Investors with a longer duration and time horizon will do well. Commsec just informed me that my APX is now 24% of my portfolio, yippee.
