Im not optimistic on much for the next year. I think the supply of commodities plus the outlook for potential supply has to tighten up. We will see that when specs and other coys start going out of business and unemployment rises. Deflation or stagflation will make it uneconomical to do a lot of mining because its hard to get a good price for the commodity. Then inflation will rise as people are paying more for the commodity to ensure supply, and the remaining bigger companies start to dictate prices. The value of money goes down (i.e. you need more to pay for the same thing) and the value of the commodity goes up because of supply constrictions. The printing of money will lengten this inflationary process.
