my reason for using cfds is so i can short shares when the asx market is going down, in short term trades. so shares valued from 20cents to 5$ are my main candidates. but you say these small caps may be a problem ? i need cfds for those.hope they have them. also, i'm thinking of going long on US share-cfds of similar value (perhaps the US market or other international share markets are going up at times when ours is going down, so i can keep trading). let me know if these ideas aren't practical. i know about shares and so i prefer to trade share-cfds and not other cfds. i also know some technical analyses for share price charts, so i hope to use the same analyses skills (price charts , volume, trendlines, breakouts) for shares, and just grab the appropriate cfd for the desired share. not ready yet to learn new analyses skills for e.g. forex etc. that's my plan and i hope that it is practically possible. or u think i can't do this?
thanks
