Of course some smarty can argue trade not buy and hold. The zero sum game can only benefit very small number of people.

To argue a bull case,

IN 2004 (after March 2003 low), we have August low at 3468, and finished at EOY at 3899, up 12.5%.

If we use August low at 4320, we should have 4860 at EOY.

(PS, I reserve 4860 as my EOY competition entry)
