The Russian people on the whole have low wages and loss of freedoms
while the Putin allied Oligarchs have amassed billions and live like
the kings of old.

Hopefully, the sanctions will create an environment that will see off
a tyrannical Russian leadership and will result in Russia joining the
rest of the world and become a respected nation rather than a pariah.

The Ukrainians are fighting to retain democracy and control over their
country something which most democracies have had to do to secure
that democracy. The Ukranian people appear to have both the will to fight
but also to negotiate for an end to the invasion of their country. Its an uneven
fight and they need support from all freedom loving countries
