    Matthew Stevens AFR talks about some of CTP pricing issues in getting gas to market in todays AFR...It says the 18 year old Carpentaria pipeline (which I guess is owned by APA) is sucking unearned rent from the gas market (due to high charges) reducing the emerging producers to respond to very encouraging price signals that have been generated by the birth of the export LNG industry on the east coast.

    If the alternate pipleline route to Moomba had somehow been given the go-ahead - things may be different?
