ASIC and FIRB will look like fools if they approve the takeover and the Hanlong deal turns sour similar to BRM/WahNam. The same holders who are so quick to jump to hanlong's defense will probably turn their frustrations on ASIC. Think about it.
I don't think ASIC/FIRB are key however.. As someone said, they are toothless tigers. The question is can Hanlong come up with the 1.6bn?
