Good question. The short answer is no, of course, but lo and behold, at least one of the FIRB board members is on the Takeovers Panel!
They are pretty powerful bunch of dudes and dudette, considering the pathetic performance of the companies like Elders, - five year performance from $28.30 to 27 cents today, - Centro and BFG, - $2.49 to 60 cents over four years, - that they are directors of. All represent colossal losses for their shareholders.
