As someone who's in a bit of a younger demographic (25 years old) I'm seeing first hand the almost total opposition to coal from the vast majority of people around my demographic and think this will wash through as there is generational change in politics and management positions etc. I honestly shudder at the thought of these people seeing the graphs that SOL uses with the ever increasing amount of coal consumption that will occur in developing countries and from a pure business point of view I think this makes NHC a massive bargain (I only hold it indirectly through BKW and SOL which is something I obviously keep pretty quiet when all the anti coal discussions occur amongst friends on a regular basis!!). Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how how you look at it) I think the image of the coal industry is only going to deteriorate further over time meaning that we might be stuck holding a very profitable business that never trades at it fair value. Would be interested to hear some more thoughts on this.

u r spot on. Most coalies will trade at heavy discounts, but in an enviro where every mug is chasing yield, we'll eventually have our day in the sun.
