Obviously, the share price has been following the uncertainty of this event but the company has not deemed this to be something they need to advise the market on. Not sure if that should be the case.

To management's defense, we shouldn't assume any potential cost here is material, as SHV will have various types of insurance.....

The corporate costs for events such as this are usually 'cashflow losses' waiting for insurance payouts, insurance excess and all the investigation and flow on costs as the event is appraised and risk managed into the future.

More broadly, SHV's outlook looks good but not much as changed recently. Steady as she goes is not the worst thing as SHV pays off its interest bill.
