fire! fire! everyone's running to the exits .

There's a massive fire breaking out in the gold bull and everyone is running to the exits, trying to escape gold and gold shares imo.

If gold falls just another $US90 to US$1450 will gold shares be obliterated?

Many strong gold bulls understand the following:

They might have 100,000 gold shares worth $100,000 invested in a gold company.

They can say: "I'm strong. There's nothing wrong with this company. I'm not selling." Then sit out this market correction, watch those shares get absolutely smashed in price then recover and go on to new highs. They can then boast how tough they were. They weren't going to be scared out of their quality gold shares.

Alternatively they can say, "This market smashing of gold shares has some more to run. I'm going to sell my gold shares and then buy the same number back much lower."

Then after selling out for $1.00 and buying the same number of shares back at 50 cents this investor will have his shares plus an additional $50,000 cash!

So who is the smart gold bull investor?
