If I were a wealthy resident of Hong Kong , had a good business , many fit this description by the way , owned a 2 bedroom unit which is worth 2-3 million US in HK, lived on the 40 th floor , faced congestion daily I would consider paying $400k for a nice spacious apartment in Oz dirt cheap.
It all comes down to what you are use to and can afford. The Chinese are voting with their dollars.
