Thanks for your comments, especially the Mg ratios.

You make the comment "The short term technicals are nearly always obeyed ... "

I have no doubt those with good discipline (buy / sell decisions, stop loss rules, money management, psychology etc) can make money short term. Personally I find short-term trading very hard, and short term technicals often hard to read. I think I could get it right 50-60% of the time if I practiced.
