Codswallop misty.Just because you want to live in the bush does not mean you leave your brains in town.You can have your life in the bush without letting the undergrowth go wild with no control measures.Some houses had the thick scrub almost touching the homes and I mean 3 or 4 feet from the house.This is not wise ,to say the least.Fortunately most people have some distance between them and the scrub.Houses are fairly fire resistant as long as there is no access for the flames,because once the fire gains entry it is all over in minutes,like a hollow log
