Such laws are state laws Jim although sometimes local government can be given the role of enforcing them. The RFS and all actions taken to prevent fire emergencies are taken under state government laws and regulations.
Last time I looked NSW has had a Liberal government for the past two years. The Greens don't hold any seats at all.
