    actually I was reflecting that there was a vague possibility that he may be one of those people that is disappointed in how his life has turned out. The cues are these:
    • assuming people must inevitably act out of self interest or for financial gain
    • using name calling to try to diminish others who disagree - often a tactic used by people who have run out of logic but also of those who need to put others down to feel better about themselves
    • Commenting on how someone on a TED talk has others in raptures. That’s probably the most telling. That sort of denigration often suggests a form of jealousy.

    I do however have a large dose of compassion for such as these. It’s a tough gig being so right
