Reducing or eliminating future emissions won't negate these phenomena, not even close.

If you read up on what drives the temperatures, it's the ocean currents, and what drives that is what oceanographers are all about.

And they will tell you that the carbon is being absorbed by the oceans and turning them acidic and hot. Ambient temperatures of the oceans are melting the polar caps (from underneath) and slowing the moderating currents like the Gulf Stream.

You don't seem to understand what this is all about, but that's not rare. People are fixated on emissions (and they should be reduced and eliminated ASAP). But this won't remove the carbon that's already been sequesetered in the oceans.

Oceanographers say that the trend to melting of the polar caps is irreversible. That's really something to think about. You should ask yourself why they're saying this.

It's true there is a climate change industry, and it's fixated on emissions. This is on one hand fine, because it is necessary, but it's not sufficient.

Do yourself a favour and read up on this. Far too few people do.

Cold water temperatures ( not hot as you say ) caused the Indian Ocean Dipole and accordingly drought in Australia. The very recent rain coincided with the normalisation of the Dipole. More rain should follow.
