I met the bloke who “salted” the Moore River with 10 sugar sack’s of berried up Marron in the early 50’s at Regan’s Ford.
He was from an Albany family and was into Bee’s in a big way through the second half of last century. A good friend of my late grandfather.
I see it as criminal to not add/salt any suitable water with a few crayfish
I’ve found that most lakes/ponds in the suburbs of Perth have been salted but apparently it is frowned upon by most local government authorities if you try and access this source of tucker.
