I did have thirty acres in the NW. Worked hard and had a huge garden so I know lucky isn’t all no work but having something to start with is good. I’ve moved to smaller for a number of reasons and starting again trying to get food in. A small area will be floral and the rest food. Who thought flax was a good idea in a small block. I’m simply happy that within weeks I was able to start a small area with vegetables but looking forward to a period without rain to get fruit trees in.

you sound like you’ve worked hard to build your haven. Have you tried the keyhole shaped garden? I too would love to know some of the tricks you’ve learnt
