DREAMWORLD is recruiting a new top spin doctor after the departure of PR boss Lyndal Dennis in the wake of the Thunder River Rapids Ride tragedy.
Ms Dennis announced last Friday that she was leaving the Coomera theme park.
She had endured the toughest gig of her professional career trying to manage the media fall-out from the October disaster which claimed the lives of four tourists.
Dreamworld’s owners Ardent Leisure brought in media crisis management firm Newgate Communications to assist but the cool-headed Ms Dennis, who has a young family, was still placed under immense pressure.
She oversaw the opening of Dreamworld’s new Lego store leaving.
A replacement has yet to be named.
