Thoughts this morning with people in Central Queensland Coast bearing the brunt of Category 5 Cyclone Marcia.

Dow Industrials and New York Composite down modestly.  SP500 down a tad.  Russell 2000 flat.  Nasdaq Composite up modestly.

Here's the chart for the SP500:



Last three days have been narrow range doji candlesticks.  These often appear at the top of a trend before it rolls over.  At this stage, however, there are no significant divergences on indicators.  We usually need those before a trend finishes.  So there could be one more run up in this rally.

Commodities:


CRB Index down -0.45% but showed intra-day buying pressure.  This was particularly evident in Energy -0.9% but recovered somewhat from a plunge early in the session.  Industrial Metals -0.22%.  Spot Iron Ore unchanged.

OZ stocks in NY:

BHP -1.16%.  Rio +0.53%.  Westpac -0.47%.  ANZ -0.37%.  EWA -0.43%.

Our market opened flat this morning.  It looks like another narrow range day coming up.
