cwl, I'm actually not a complete doomsdayer, trade long and short, but getting some insight into the underbelly of the market helps not getting sucked in to the hype. It helps me avoid unpleasant costly surprises. The biggest trap for me in trading is getting hooked up on a particular feeling, whether it be euphoria or fear. Analysis helps me do that. cheers!
