I'm not sure most would agree that Pip Marlow or michael Cameron did anything except destroy shareholder value. over the time that suncorp opens stores and focused on a bricks and mortar presence other online lenders like Macquarie and ING grew to a loan book size much greater than that of suncorp.
jury is out on the current leadership but they would be hard pushed to be worse than someone who thought bricks and mortar would outsell digital channels.
