Firing health care workers a good or bad decision?, page-2

It is a minefield; not just the healthcare workers

Say you are an employer with a retail business eg WOW or HVN

You owe a duty of care to all your employees and a duty of care to your customers

Some people argue it is up to them whether to get vaccinated or not and carry on about their civil rights

If I were an employer I would like to think that I would have the right to fire unvaccinated people

If I were an anti-vax person who employs then I would like to think I could let employees make their own decision as to whether they wanted to work with jabbed/unjabbed colleagues

The Human Rights lawyers are going to make a fortune (anybody know if any are listed; I'll buy shares tomorrow)

I do think the extremist pro or anti jabbers are taking it too far

HOWEVER - just because you have been jabbed doesn't mean you cannot be a carrier

    Just my humble thoughts

Personally I feel that if a person has outright refused to be vaccinated and catches covid then they have no right to be a drain on the health system's resources
