Well yes it is down to 50% of pre-consol Mons but so are many other stocks. Look at Flinders recently which is now fighting its way back. I think GDA could have dropped much lower if the market had no confidence watsoever (oops pardon the pun but when I think of lack of confidence some of the non stock holders spring to mind :)

As to news well logic would say that the company has something to tell the market eventually ... at the moment it is actually a matter of time to travel through what you rightly describe as "no mans land".
