Firm opening due for share market

In Sydney, the Australian share market is expected to open firmer as record prices on some base metals and further gains on gold suggest another strong day for the domestic resources sector.
On the Sydney Futures Exchange, the June share price index was five points firmer at 5132.
On the day the retail offer for Dyno Nobel closes, Aviva Australia releases annual results and investors will be looking for an update from Multiplex on its Wembley Stadium project.
The economics front explodes on Friday with Australian Bureau of Statistics February Retail Trade and Building Approvals data expected while Reserve Bank of Australia February financial aggregates will also be released.
