Your right the futures price should be treated with caution especially
as it is a LIVE market during the day and can sometimes upset!

However when the Futures is showing a dramatic rise in the IO price
especially on large volumes and for important months like September,
don't you think it would be wise to pay attention to it?

Maybe just bow out and concede, "this is all looking a bit hairy ATM!"

Getting emotional about a short position is even more ridiculous than
becoming emotional about a long position. At least with a long position
you can tell people you own part of a company{or at least a little bit of
digital code which says you do.}
When I close my short positions on FMG do you think I become a little
teary-eyed about it and say, " I am going to miss having my FMG short
position so much"?

The answer is no, of course not! That is crazy!
