    He has clearly pointed out that there is nothing to be done and doesn't feel necessary to hypothesise a situation that he would never be in. Anyone who has the faintest idea of property knows that banks don't like sub 50sqm apartments, which is the only reason the bank pulled the deal and a knowledgable broker would simply not be in that position.

    What do you want him to say? "I would beg and plead for the CEO of NAB to change their lending policy...???"

    Clearly you don't like brokers.
    Mine is worth his weight in gold, the lender pays his commission not me and I would never, never borrow without him.
