Geologist or not, GDY has proved they can drill 4km and produce bring steam to the surface.
In essence, that's the most important part of this project. Generating electricity from steam is not new!
Extracting heat from the ground is not a new thing.
Extracting from hot granites is.
My one and only concern now is thermal depletion.
If they hook up the heat exchanger and leave it going for an extended period of time without thermal depletion, I'll be starting to think of the project as a sure thing.
Others may not agree, and as always, do your own research.
