I'm catching up on the soccer... so whilst it's on ...

If you cant see a soul, feel a soul, talk to a soul, capture a souls manifestation... how do you KNOW it exists ... how do you KNOW that it goes anywhere when you die... how do you KNOW if there is life after death... how do you KNOW a soul goes through many lifetimes.. how do you actually KNOW any of this ... surely it comes down to ones willingness to believe that this may be the case ... which again is based on ones desire to believe .. as without hope of any meaning to life then one just exists .. which to many is too much to take as it makes their daily existance pretty pointless... so to believe in a soul gives meaning to their lives ... however it must be impossible to KNOW that a soul exists .. it is however a convenient support mechanism... the unbelievable thing is that the various "soul groups" (religions) then go and attack each other because their understanding of what to do with the "soul journey" is different ... how sad is all that .. we are meant to be the most intelligent life form on planet earth and we factionalise around what is impossible to KNOW and then try and impose those beliefs on the other groups ... go figure ...
