    LOL Lighthouse. You do a much better job belittling yourself than I could ever do, as your attempted "tough kid" post clearly demonstrates.


    I'm not against carbon capture and sequestration simply because CO2 emissions are obviously a global issue with global realities. And the reality is that the developing world is not going to depart from fossil fuels anytime soon. A new coal fired power station per week in China, and one per month in India is the reality. So if the first world can perfect carbon sequestration, make it cost efficient, and export the know-how to the developing world, then at least it buys some time until non-fossil fuel sources are better able to compete for economic viability.

    Furthermore Australia is exporting masses of coal to the developing world, including thermal, so we should at least be exporting clean technology with it - lest we become hypocrites - just as we are by selling uranium but refusing to receive, manage and store the waste products.
