Trumpies had such fun watching Biden sink into the morass of of his muddled mind, and crumbling credibility.
And now, poor old Trump is having his turn. Talking more gibberish than ever. His mental decline more subtle, coming as it does from a much lower point to begin with.
Getting irritable, pulling out the old cliches, and getting them scrambled, when under pressure - even from his own compliant journalists who just want him to stop blathering and say something worthy of a sound-bite.
After Biden finally found one of his last self-aware brain cells, and withdraw himself from the 2024 race, the Democrats had a chance, and equally importantly had a viable alternative. It's too soon to evaluate Harris as a Presidential candidate, but so far at least she's remained viable.
The Republicans don't have a plan-B. Trump chose a cardboard cut-out of a cartoon character be his VP running mate. Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis must be thinking: "Goddam it: you blew it! Either one of us couldv'e been there to catch the crumbs when Trump flumps!"
That sour, mournful tone as a Presidential candidate sinks into absurdity and irrelevance (no pun intended). It was only a few weeks go we heard it singing "Biden's going down ..."
Now it's the same tune, different lyrics.
Trump is done.
Harris about 340, Trump might hold 200, might not.
