Just looking at the historical AZY daily volumes traded in the +49 million shares per day range indicates it is generally associated with big announcements. eg. Farm-in agreements, annual exploration programme.
Today's presentation was similar to the Beaver Creek presentation released on the 15th September which contributed to 7.8 million shares traded on that day. The presentation today was the same information but resulted in 49 million shares being traded, x 6.3 times more volume!!!! Hence, someone is accumulating ahead of Rio's Citadel drilling results or some other JV news on the way. Exciting week ahead......
