Hi Welkin
Thanks for a good post
We have numerous people many are well intentioned who literally rave on incessantly about the environment and their pet projects to remedy the problems
But they are not educated (technically) to even understand what they are trying to fix and consequently their solutions are a total waste of what must be in Australia, trillions of dollars for almost zero effect
I would guess that most of the adherents of the campaigns to improve the environment, could not explain any of the functions of the items they want to change
What is carbon neutral, how does such a achievement help anyone or anything
How do they measure Australia's CO2 output
How do they measure Australia's carbon capture
How does a lithium battery store power
copper-plated solar panel ?? ----- How does the sun shine through the copper ???
Before you come up with solutions you must understand these things
But yet we have people who would have great difficulty changing a light globe lecturing the world at large on all sorts of technical matters and their remedies
By all means be concerned about all sorts of pollution, but listen, read and learn from those who have more knowledge than you so as to educate yourself on what is best
Platforms such as HC are a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop but a closed mind, one eyed person is losing great opportunities to learn and develop to be a better person
