Holders generally are glass half full people so there needs to be outsiders reflecting the outside view. Otherwise the people in the echo chamber miss the signals that others can clearly see.

I'll use myself as an example. A friend put me on to NOR a year ago and I thought it was a good prospect. However I only invest into RTOs after the performance shares are issued. I think the company is more derisked after that happens. In preparation for that I think I am pretty well versed in the company, its mechanics, its market and the long road it has ahead.

I can even safely say that I have read the opinions of both holders and non-holders that would fill the outhouse of an abbatoir ten times over. Most of the time it is because their opinion is not based on any research or fact but it is what they want to happen. In many cases those were 5% chances that were blown up by the approval of the crowd.

So I think there is value in both holders and nonholders sharing views on this site

Well said. I find non-holders opinions can be far more valuable. I look for an entry price and sometimes comment.
