Messrs Gillard, Conroy and Quigley have indicated a subtle but significant shift in the rollout policy for the NBN. The white elephant will contnue with buried wires but the increased importance of a Fixed Wireless Network and a Satellite Service have gained prominence. It was buried in the fluff but it's a sign of the times.
